Some services may involve data about nationality, parentage or marital status. We process it only to the extent the service you ordered requires.
3.1. Providers that process data on our behalf (processors, Art. 28 GDPR): hosting of the site and application on Google Cloud, region europe-west1 (Belgium), and the email provider. They process data only on our instructions.
3.2. Professionals you hire directly, such as lawyers, solicitadores or notaries, when the service requires it and with your knowledge. They process data as independent controllers, in the exercise of their profession.
3.3. Public bodies, when an application of yours requires it (for example, civil registries, AIMA or the Tax Authority), and only to the extent of that application.
3.4. We do not sell personal data.
If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on an adequacy decision of the European Commission, including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or on standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission.
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing, under Articles 15 to 22 GDPR, by writing to viaportugal@veportugal.com. We reply within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (www.cnpd.pt).
