A defesa em processo de oposição é só trabalho de advogado.There are three possible pairs of hands. Some steps you can do yourself, with the map and with support when you get stuck. Gathering documents, organizing the file and following the case are Via Portugal's work, as an administrative intermediary. Anything the law reserves exclusively to lawyers and solicitadores is done by a lawyer or a solicitador (a registered legal professional with a narrower remit), under a power of attorney you sign, and that is written on each service before you pay. Defense in an opposition case is lawyer's work only.
